Weather Report..................

Yesterday turned out better than forecast.
Today is even better.
That was bad news
I no longer had an excuse to stay indoors.
Because we have some Motorhomimg friends threatening to visit, and our daughter arriving for her annual inspection of her heritage, I have been under pressure to paint over all the cracks ...again. !
The way the exchange rate is improving, I may well be rich enough, next year, to employ a professional painter... to paint over the cracks.
 
Herts has a slight breeze with air at about 8°C, a grey overcast sky and it's not raining or drizzling. Dampness is, however, forecast for later.
So it's a bike ride this morning and mundane jobs this afternoon for me.
A somewhat appropriately downbeat day for 31st January 2020. And most certainly no celebrations here.

Reasonable winter day. no rain , not too cold.
The Oppys graced us with their company.
Strangely pleasant meal in the greasiest spoon cafe..
fish and chips, without the chips..
They brought vital supplies ..
No problem if anyone passing by wants a cup tea.
Now sorted for mustard and Marmite..

Yes, it’s a difficult time of year for motorhomers. The forums seem prone to a few spats each year, but they are far less prevalent than a few years ago I think. Tonght it’s windy with some heavy showers passing.
Putting lots of new parts on the 2cv tomorrow, at least I’ll be in the garage.
 
After a cloudy, misty 10 degrees at dawn, it's looking and sounding like a lovely spring day.
Management had the WD-40 and a crowbar ready... To help me into my Speedos.
Unbroken sunshine and 20 degrees forecast.
I'm not putting the umbrella away yet, The Daughter arrives, this Pm.
She usually brings a little Manchester weather with her.
