Lovely day for sitting outside, sipping the odd iced white port.
Alas We are cleaning up after the builders..
They worked hard and tidily..
But.. those jack hammers throw out some dust.
So we're spring cleaning.
Then we have the painters to get in..
So much for the dream of retiring to Paradise.

We normally head for the California sun by now, so our first UK Autumn for 8 years. I’d forgotten how lucky we are to live on this beautiful island, perfect day for a trip to Benmore Botanic Gardens. ️️️

Beautiful pic and great colours on the second one Bill. Its been a cracking day here as well, loads of sunshine drying everything up. Managed to get a lot of bulbs planted so the garden is on schedule and we can go away next week with clear conscience assuming we are allowed to travel

I drove back from Cornwall overnight with Mars directly ahead of me.
There was (is) rain forecast for Hertfordshire today but so far it's dry. Calm, grey and chilly, but dry.
So perhaps a potter around the lanes?

We now have the makings of a garden .
