wind howling...no rain as yet....was quite mild this morning out of the wind....however different story when its blowing down the driveway changes to very cold....n. yorks
The forecast unbroken sunshine of last night , has been changed .
Evidently were having 100% thick black cloud, 12 degrees.. all morning.
So why am I comfortably sitting on the terrace, after a warm, mild breakfast, wearing only Speedos and sunglasses..?
Maybe we're not in the right place.. or a parallel dimension.?
This morning we have a fresh chilly breeze blowing across Hertfordshire and it's just started raining.
The weather is coming to us from the north west, so presumably courtesy of Cheshire?
Could be Colin, we do like to be caring and share things ....... here it has reached the balmy heights of 6 degrees with a real feel of 1 degree in the breeze. That said we have light grey cloud and some white with a blue tinge so dry for now. Today we are multi-tasking repairing hoovers and then some leaf blowing at my cousin's, tomorrow is forecast to be wet and we are fishing
At 13:30 the rain stopped and the clouds parted to show some hope.
So I've pottered along the former branch line which runs along the Lea valley:
.....and up to the Sharpenhoe Clappers on the edge of the Chiltern escarpment:
Along the way a large squadron of geese flew over me - but they didn't have time to pause for a photo opportunity.
And all this was thanks to the gentle folk of Cheshire who shared a good thing with Hertfordshire folk this afternoon.
Thanks Dave.
