After an overnight frost we've a beautiful day ahead of us where the temperatures should rise to 15°.

Farms and meadows are showing drifts of early flowers, and occasional butterflys and solitary bees are out. The Blue tits have defended their chosen their box through the winter and are nesting again.

It got here an hour or so later..
Quite spectacular for a while but lapsed into boring, cold. drizzle . Not too bad news though, as we expected the lane to wash away.
The Goatherd tells us it's still passable.
More drizzle now. Winds have calmed and changed from SE to SW.
Further storms expected over the next 48 hours... Allegedly.

I see what you're up against Paul, we were all set in for a wet day in Gibraleon, we woke to rain, heavy for a while then the sun came out and we've had a lovely all be it a bit windy afternoon.
It just tells me to stay calm and carry on.
