It's another fine day in the Weald, bright blue sky, birds singing their hearts out, and 16°.

Been for a bumble around the country lanes with the NG. It would be rude not to.

Just got some dutch neighbours and they've came up from Spain as the weather has been terrible so I think we done a shrewd move also they said Holland been getting bad weather

We had the thunderstorm forecast...got fairly heavy shower then short but of drizzle! Got the umbrella out then put it away....

Your Dutch neighbours are not wrong, Gordon! Another day of peeing rain and this is forecast along the southern coast for the next week, but with some thunder for a wee bit of variety. Everyone on site is asking when it's going to get better

steve we feel for you and all there but we were going to ride it out but we in the end worked out 7 days constant barring one great day we had in Spain prior to getting set for Portugal but all reports and theBBC Weather forecast we decided not to venture into Portugal and headed to south of france and it appears to have been a shrewd move by Fiona studting the charts so long
hope it improves asap mate

Up very early this morning and rewarded with an amazing sunrise through the mist. Just 12 degrees so far but 18 promised later with blue skies again.

It's grey skies and blustery but still 14 degees here.
Maybe we'll get a bit of blue sky but the weather guru's have promised showers.

We had a starry night and blue sky first thing....not going to last though. Quite windy here in Central Portugal too. What's the betting UK weather will change when we return!

After a somewhat chilly night, it's lovely waking up to the smell of fresh bread.

The dawn in Sussex has brought us another lovely dry day, with blue skies, a light breeze, and 17°.

Sunny day again but only up to 16 degrees or so today.

Little overnight rain and forecast fair over the weekend.
Red dust arrived again as the winds changed to Southeastern.
Should suit our weekend visitors.... Though the wind might rock their motorhomes.

We had a lovely cycle into La Rochelle and had lunch great to sit and watch the world go past and watch the sights

We've decided to come north in Portugal so get away from rhe rain, I think we probablyover did the rain dancing for Paul, we're up at Evora and fingers crossed we can do the sights tomorrow, without rain. Monsaraz was good today, the view was a little misty but still spectacular.
