Forget the temperature..... Although it's dawned dry and bright, strong gusting winds with heavy rain are predicted from mid morning onwards and lasting until early evening, when they'll die away.

If anything in the garden needs sorting, right now is the time to do it.

Very much better than yesterday which was foggy all day, it's a bit overcast and the sun is trying to break through, 3° no wind and no rain.

I think the Portuguese weather pickers are on secondment here, we had the light rain, then the heavy rain .......... so far as per forecast, now we've got broken cloud, sunshine and a slight breeze

Just pulled up the website on SW European weather information .

They are warning that SW France and Biscay are in for foul weather, starting Sunday.

It is supposed to work it's way down from there, to Northern Spain, and across the Iberian Peninsular, down to Western Portugal, over the next few days..

Best to play safe.
