Only 17° and the stiff westerley will bring thundery showers as I walk. It should brighten up later.

The showers ended before 10.30am, and I was off out. By great good fortune, it has remained dry and warm for the rest of the day. It was lovely walking in the sun with the sound of the breeze tossing about the shrubs bordering the Royal Military Canal, with a pint to finish.
