Another cloudless day.

Heavy rain overnight and into mid morning, smugfilter out as we packed away last night before the rain came. Moved on mid morning via leclerc, now south of La Rochelle at Fouras. We now have sunny intervals and 17°. Heading to Rochefort tomorrow for a couple of nights.

Spent the day in Rochefort where it cleared up nicely after lunch, moved down the coast to a really old fashioned muni near Bourcefranc-le-Chapus, not far from the bridge over to Oleron. Acsi accepted ..... 11 euros including electric and free wifi. The weather has turned again with showers running through on a stiff northerly breeze. I sometimes love the french sense of humour ........ see pic of hump signs in Fouras, each with a different sport ...

I love the surfing sign, but when France standardised every single road sign I thought the idea was that nothing non standard would be permitted. Clearly, the rascals are ignoring the rules, but it's brilliant.
