Weather Report..................

Im 79, too .
Doubt if my bladder would allow me to sit all the way through The Messiah.
Get a row end seat. Enjoy it.
I was thinking of going to The Messiah next weekend, but maybe a rethink is needed 😂

Handel thought about bladders ....... possibly. 😁 Its generally in two or three parts, so possibly not a problem.

There was a nice lady I got chatting to who had motored down from Stafford, just for this performance. I mentioned that when the Hallelujah Chorus starts, it's tradition for the whole audience to stand (if possible). This stems from the time when George II stood in excitement, compelling the rest of the audience follow suit, it being improper for them to remain seated when the monarch was on his feet.

It was a memorable performance.

Best of all, the rain has already stopped and tomorrow will turn into a lovely day.

It's an N.G.A. day.
Not Going Anywhere.

13 degrees, in a mainly Northern wind.

Looks lovely, through a double glazed window .

We had big plans to wrap up and go for a walk. Then we opened the window.
They have been postponed.

Coffee and rum time.

Today was simply beautiful, a blue sky with the lightest SW breeze, and so we drove to the sea-side for a walk along the prom (sans bucket and spade).

Yvonne has just lost her best friend to cancer and she needed to do something simple, like simply walking and talking. I eventually put my hand in a deep pocket, found my wallet, and bought her some lunch.

Overnight the forecast magically changed, and it's turning into another lovely day (except for the thousands of Tunbridge Wells customers who are facing a third day without clean water).

Here in our part of the Weald, it has started dry and bright, but there may be some light showers further south along the coast, especially around lunch time. An 11° high in December is all very pleasant.
