Weather Report..................

I've converted our smug filter into a snorkel .......... not stopped 15 hours now.

I hope Manchester can put the stand pipes away again. They'd not been used in 40 summers

Nobody could remember where they'd been stored.

Amazingly, the weather forecast was almost right.
It's raining stair rods.

We hsd a yellow weather warning for a foggy start, but that forecast was wrong.

Instead, our patch of East Sussex had a bright start that will turn cloudy but remain dry, with a moderate southerly breeze and 11° high. ⛅☁️☁️

Waste of rock salt up here as the temperatures lifted and the fog was limited to the Weaver valley. The rain has cleared any frost pockets away and will continue all morning with showers this afternoon. 4° rising to 9° with a S breeze.
Brought back memories, taking the boat along the canal from Middlewich and looking down on the Weaver, a favourite stop for us.

And us Chris..
Been round the Cheshire Ring so many times, we got dizzy.
Meanwhile, to business:

Lovely bright start. Sun shining through the window..
Then I opened it. Real feel 15 degrees
Northerly winds, forecast for all day

Could be worse.

East Sussex has been given a Yellow Weather Warning for rain. I find it simpler to look up at the sky.

The rain is here for the entire day, with gusty winds and a 12° high. 🌧🌧🌧

Oh, and we've still got a hosepipe ban. 😂

Back in the day we did a few gigs at the Middlewich Boat and Folk Festival ........

So far the rain has held off, contrary to the forecast, barely a breeze and up to 10°. I suspect we will catch some more rain later, as if we needed it, everywhere is absolutely sodden. I've normally got rid of a large brash fire weeks ago but it is still languishing in the field waiting for a dry spell and the right wind direction.
