Help..!
They are sending out warnings of snow on high ground.
I wonder what's the Portuguese for snowplough, and how many are on standby on the Algarve?

Depressao Ingrid: proximas 48h risco queda neve e formacao gelo acima 400mts altitude. Agit. maritima forte costa ocidental. Info: 800246246 / www.prociv.gov.pt

Paul, just do what my reiver relatives did, and still do, and stock up on tinned stuff under the stairs. When a child, if my late sister and I were lucky, there would be ginger beer too. Happy memories.

No need for snow ploughs in those days.

Today was drier and brighter than anticipated, so we walked to the shops. ⛅☁️🌨

After a foul afternoon and night, we were told to expect 24 hours of downpour and 2 degrees real feel in a withering SW. Hooley.
So why are people walking around in shorts and tee shirts, under a clear blue sky and a persistent Northerly breeze?
They can't all be tourists. Surely?
Real feel is 5'

We were in Ballater yesterday. Teeming down with that horrible stuff between snow and sleet, very cold wind and yep, you’ve guessed it, the postie was in shorts!

East Sussex will have a day of sunshine and showers, with a moderate ESE breeze and a chilly 8° high. ⛅️🌨⛅

There's a rumour that SE Water might review the hosepipe ban as Arlington reservoir is about 80% full again.

The worst of the storm appears to have passed after a night of being blown from side to side and rain that impersonate being in the Van whilst inside a car wash.

We are about 300m from the beach and the clean up from the last storm finished over the weekend; possibly just in time to start all over again with this week's clean up ...
