Weather Report..................

Think we’ll have to move to Blackpool. Haven’t had a single day without rain or snow since New Year. Aboyne just down the road from us had 4 times its average January rainfall last month.
The relatively good weather was one of the main reasons for our move here. Even just a few miles inland is not as good.
At this time of year we always escaped to the guaranteed sunshine of Palm Desert, I now often look longingly at the webcam in the main street. https://kesq.com/el-paseo-live/

Strong winds here in Algarve...storm Leonardo has arrived properly...hope motorhomes in Portugal have battened down again. Bit concerned about sun loungers blowing around near where the van is parked!

East Sussex has a day of low cloud, light rain, a gentle SE breeze, and 10° high. 🌨⛅️🌨

The cheery snowdrops are everywhere. As the weather's a bit dreich, I'll saw down a bole thats unsightly and then light the log burner to add some additional colour and brightness. 🔥🥃

Sunny spells, but occasional light showers, almost like heavenly incontinence, for a few minutes; then heavenly flatulence as the wind picks up and blows the moisture away

Solar doesn't know whether it's coming or going - 90w-130w one minute, then 25w a few seconds later as the next clouds roll in. Think Victron ought to have a 'Make your bloody mind up' symbol for such conditions 🙄...

Yesterday, South-East Water generously lifted the hosepipe ban, but because the soft clay soil has become a waterlogged bog, we're not quite certain how to celebrate. 😳

Last night's rain has left us with a misty start, quickly dissipating and leaving East Sussex with the probability of thundery showers, a moderate variable breeze, and an 11° high. ⚡️🌧🌨

Fortunately, it should all calm down just before we catch the last train home from the West End. 🚂

Woke up to sunshine.

W. Winds calming down.

10 degrees real feel Intermittent showers.

Our cleaner and Husband have a market garden. The trees have been stripped bare and the carefully prepared topsoil has been washed away.
Chinese curse..." May you live in interesting times.!".

Even worse up north.

Would you believe it.

A once in 50 years event.

Raining all day.

We're packing the shopping into the car at Lidl

And a 5minute furious hailstone shower caught us..

We live a mile downwind.

It fell as snow.

Sun out now and the rain
