A lovely bright start to the day in East Sussex, with a light westerly and 10°high.

It may become cloudy with the odd shower in the afternoon, but will probably turn drier again later on. 🌨️

Topsy turvey weather again, yesterday we had a sunny start in Lecco and Milan which stayed with us until the grey skies of Geneva. This morning in Geneva it is wet with a real feel of 1°, hopefully drier this afternoon.

It's Carnaval here, tomorrow.
Big parades, semi naked ladies music and general cavorting.
Our guests might think:

A) It's a typical Algarve day.
B) Its a special welcome ceremony for them.

In spite of that, the outlook is reasonably good.

Still got clouds but no actual rain today. Forgot it was an "unofficial" Portuguese holiday (carnival/shrove Tuesday)and went to the Camra in town only to find they were closed! Warmer even without sunshine but still not what I hoped for! Hope @Pauljenny 's half naked ladies don't freeze!

We move north tomorow towards Santander ready for ferry 25th...
Yesterday was my 66th birthday so we celebrated with champagne and tapas on the beach, late lunch and snooze in the afternoon sun.

Strange, the Met Office posted a yellow warning for heavy rain, but it's actually bone dry.

In the real world of East Sussex it's a chilly, dry day, with a moderate N-W breeze, and the possibility of some rain early evening onwards. 🌤️🌨
