Well it went downhill about tea time here then it started to rain just been out and the wind keeps picking up so it sounds like it’s starting to tip it down but it’s only the rain on the leaves and it’s cold!!

BRRRRRRR and BRRRRRRR......tis cold and windy.........with grey skies.....however......over to the east the rising sun is or was half an hour ago showing colourful signs......so today could go any way....not heard the forecast , so not sure what the weather will be like............

It's grey up above Herts, though the air is warmer than yesterday.
So I'll drive over to Leigh-on-Sea and pop in to Southend.
Patisserie Valerie may well need my custom and my daughter will no doubt want to make sure that I get there and back safely.

I've been for a 11 mile walk along the Oxfordshire Way it's been a bit overcast but warm. A good days walk.

Sitting on the terrace, in me pants, digesting a fine dinner of pig's Cheeks , sweet potato chips, salad s, cheese, ham, and all the necessary fluids, before and after... Seeing the night out with a " virgins' ruin"..Tomato juice, Lea and Perrins lemon.. And a goodly slug of Gin. Goodnight
