It's dry here, but what a contrast to yesterday. The sun has been replaced by grey skies and its misty.

Sun has disappeared today grey and windy in Chorley not that bothered as off to local wetherspoon to sample their real ale festival with son so will be indoors if it rains

Well...!
We were told to expect the odd shower overnight, after sitting outdoors, til 1130. Didn't really believe it, though.
We had a full blown thunderstorm and about 2 inches of rain , between 1 and 2am. About a month's supply into the cistern .
Still managed breakfast outside, before light showers have set in.
Good day for getting comfy indoors and doing a°d all.

Despite a poor start, the sun made an unexpected, by me, appearance. Sadly it's since gone downhill and it's tipping it down now,☁????

Here in Chaource (think A.O.C. Cheese) it rained overnight. Having got that over with we can move on confidently to a warm, sunny day.
Overnight rain keeps me, the fauna, and the flora happy.
A win, win, win situation.

Calm here at Canvey 18deg slightly overcast but sunshine promised later off to the marina cafe for breakfast egg, bacon, mushrooms and toms or beans tea or coffee and toast or bread and butter £3.50 and none of this part cooked stuff they cook it all fresh. Yumm

Sitting getting rocked about in the truck cab,14 degrees mixed wind n rain. But not been as wild as expected to date

Very windy in Chorley and on and off rain not venturing out today

Roads in the central belt have lots of standing water and heavy water at. Roadsides even the truck is getting pulled into kerbside ,take extra care and attention out there guys

Gusting over 60 mph in definitely damp Devon and we have thunder forecast for tonight

No rain today. Still some clouds about, but a lovely 26 degrees, with gentle breezes. So we went shopping... No imagination, some folk ! Now that the ground has softened up, I've no excuse for not gardening.... Tomorrow!
