Beware the cigar shaped clouds Colin!
No wind up - cigar shaped clouds are a sign of the Tramontana
"Mainly dry....."?
Your pictogram says rain for 2 out of 5 days, Bill.
Technically 'Mainly' but hardly encouraging!
Colin ???
I had to look that one up, Chris. My Italian is seriously merda.
And now I wish I hadn't!
Colin ???
Sorry for any confusion Colin; the clouds I mean are a definite cigar shape, not the fluffy ones in your photos.
(sound of violins)
They are etched on my memory because when we were tied up in the old port at Barcelona someone said 'look at those clouds' and then the wind hit us. The boat alongside us was airing his bedding on the boom and that went flying, the palm trees did their best to lay down and things below were thrown everywhere. I've been caught out by a Mistral in France, but that was nothing compared to that Tramontana.
(turn off violins)
Have some mint and ginger tea Gordon that will doSure a wee bit o wind Winnie trouble you neil ,peppermint oil can cure wind??
