Weather Report..................

It's a clear sky above the beach here in Andalucia and about 14°C presently.
................And it's really windy with the Moho being buffeted.
................And I'd planned a cycle along the coast to a flea market tomorrow morning.

Or not.

Would you be a buyer, or a seller, Colin?

At a sale of fleas, an observer, Paul.
I've always thought that a strange name for a market.
Does anyone know the derivation?

Right now there's totally still air above the Moho and it's very mild indeed - I'm guessing still 14°C.

Bright, still morning.
Cloudless sky. Warming up nicely. Sinatra on the local radio.
Good day for pretending to be busy in the garden.
I feel a G&T lunch being in order.... Maybe the last of 2018

Flea market comes from the French marché aux puces, a name originally given to a market in Paris which specialized in shabby second-hand goods of the kind that might contain fleas. The earliest English use that the 20-volume Oxford English Dictionary has found dates from 1922.

The depth of knowledge amongst the motorhome fraternity, is mind boggling! Thanks Bill.
The G& T turned out to be a surprise double.. Don't want to waste ½ a can of expensive tonic, do we?
Followed by a 30 minutes kip on the Sunlouger.. I blame the fresh air.

Wow! Thanks for that, Bill. I was thinking 'small market/items and a very small insect'.
Which just goes to show how dangerous absolutely zero knowledge can be since there were well in excess of 100 sellers, well over 1000 potential buyers - and some huge items.

The day has been warm and sunny, as forecast by the wonderful BBC.
And the sky has been blue as hoped by me.
I cycled down the coast, past the castle at Fuengirola:

and on to Mijas, where the beach wasn't too crowded:

There was a group re-enacting something Spanish by the tower in Mijas:

And a powered paraglider (technical name, please Bill!) caused me to look up at the blue on my return to the Moho:

It's sunny and about 14°C presently in Fuengirola with pretty much still air.
And predicted to rise to 19°C as the day progresses.
I'll cope.

Wonderful winter day. Belated breakfast on the upper terrace, an hour of light wedding, coffee on the mezzanine.
Windless, 20 degrees in the shade. Salad lunch outdoors., washed down with accidental cider.. ½ a carton of apple juice that had blown up in the fridge.
Being Yorkshire...

I just HAD to try it , before pouring it away.
Delicious
