I would go for J R Consultancy as they are cheaper and can upgrade vehicle weights higher than S V Tech as they actually do the calculations and certify the vehicles themselves rather than using preset type approvals.

What are the insurance implications of up plating say from 3500 to 4100? I see mention of road tax savings but don't remember anyone commenting on insurance unless I just missed it?
I am hoping that I have my weight under control but I have not ruled out up plating yet.

No road tax savings for me only pay about £165 for my sprinter now will let you know about insurance once I am sorted
