Wet and Forget or similar patio çleaners

Been reading about folk using the above to clean roofs of motorhomes, gets rid of the green stuff and keeps it clean. I've used such stuff on patio with good results but not sure about using it on the roof. Anyone tried it?
 
Poundland stores stock bottles of 'No more Dirty Bike' in one litre bottles. It is basically a watered down version of a TFR. Spray bottle removes green mould black mould and dirt a treat. Spray on brush off hose down-done! Like all TFR's don't let it dry before you hose off. Cheap as chips and very effective. Don't ask how much they are please!
 
Wilco sell Patio Magic, £8.50 for 2.5ltr, does the same thing as wet & Go but cheaper
 
Thanks for responsez. Am aware of Patio Magic and others but really want to know if anyone has tried it on their roof. The TFR type of product needs rinsing off, the wet and forget types need no rinsing but rely on rain to progressively get it cleaner and cleaner.
 
I used wet and forget last year, sprayed the roof with it then forgot it! At home I park under trees and I also travelled in Europe for 7 months, got back in September and the roof was still looking good. I gave it a quick wash and have reapplied wet and forget, it works for me.
 
Thanks just what I needed to know.. Is your roof metal or GRP?
