What a shambles…..

Interesting to read the problems being experienced by Scottish ferry users…..!
As an Isle of Wight resident we can relate to many of them with our ferry service providers, however we have one major difference, there is NO public money being pumped into the system and instead of just paying for the “fat cats” in directors row we also stump up dividends to share holders.
We rely on these services totally for everything including a lot of our health care and fire service cover and yet it seems like the service can be suspended at an operational whim whilst the firms hold us to ransom for extortionate fares
All we want is a regular, reliable service at fair price…….. so singing from the same hymn sheet here

It has to be corruption or incompetence or bit of both,as with most things taxpayer funded,
or controlled ( by regulation) Even the other party is beginning to realise nationalisation does not and never has worked,both sides still have a lot to learn
