This is a tough one.
The choices for me are:-

1. Visit the offspring
2. Start getting organised for Xmas
3. Clear the leaves from around the estate
4. Dump or give away accumulated bits and bobs from one of the double garages
5. Cut and split more wood for the open fire in the entrance hall
6. Cull one of the deer (one of the young stags has lopsided antlers) and prepare it for the annual staff feast mid December
7. Or possibly nip off to the villa on the Canary Islands

I'll probably go for number seven. When the staff return from the week off I gave them they can catch up on one to six.

What would you do in my position?

Colin ???

I'd cull that wonky deer and donate it to a needy northern family like us ??

I'm disappointed. I thought you meant the original option and cancelled the flight in anticipation.
Oh well, I'll tell Simon he's flying me out to the villa after all.

It's been like that all my life, Annie. At times it feels like more of a curse than a gift.

Linda made it clear that Lee is aware of our (honourable) intentions. He's not THAT big. On the other hand............

(Now I'm off to advise Barbara on my packing needs. Simon will have the plane ready mid afternoon).

Can't beat a bit of up cycling enjoy the comfort.

Cycling .... topical. Tomorrow is repairing the two new e bikes. James’ had a puncture and my chain is slack (!) so gears slipping when towing Oscar in his trailer up hill. Then off to explore a gorge after. Today was wandering and lunching in Split. Lovely place, although some barsteward nicked Oscar’s 4” foam mattress from his trailer and and M&S shopping bag (!) ... perhaps the culprit is the cause of the flat tyre too!?!?

Sat with my laptop answering emails about my van up for sale! its only been on a few hours but seems to be generating a lot of interest!!
