I am taking Mrs S to the airport ( Dinard) on Saturday. She is flying to Stansted to visit our daughter near Cambridge to look after her dog while she skips off to Poland for a week. I am following slowly in the van on Monday, planning to be near Cambridge the following Friday.

We we’re at a small pub last weekend in Devon, just a couple of miles from Okehampton called the Highwayman Inn, a perfect pub, good beer and cider, excellent food and LOTS of hidden nooks and crannies with hidden treasures, WELL WORTH A VISIT.
We moved on Monday, just a few miles past Okehampton to a farm called Westdown Farm, for a wild week and weekend with the Wild Festivals group. The farmer has had built a few “compost” toilets for us, and very good too, just got to hope the sun arrives to top up the batteries

It’s at the sea front. Parking (£15 incuding programme) at the old racecourse, a ten minute walk. Worth taking a chair.

Well I know I am going to be somewhere near Ull as I want to get to York on either Friday or Saturday to have a go on a handbike and see if its an option. I will also probably be getting a set of 16" wheels and tyres fitted so could end up being most expensive weekend away since we bought the van

Daughter and Son In Law, have just returned from walking up Ben Nevis and have declared that Scotland is their favourite place.
Son in Law has walked up Ben Nevis before and the two of them are well traveled, including Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines
Oh and Daughter is half Scottish as Mrs G is a Scott
But this is Daughters first time up over the border
Opps, sorry, we are off on a ferry
Have a nice time graham

It will be interesting to see the outcome.
At least if you get one it won't be as liable to water damage as the scooter.

Not sure will have to see family about things going on if all gets sorted and van passes mot might try n get away for a few days

Looks like it was just the drag from the wet grass and soft ground that tripped it out Lee. Charlie noticed it wasn't charging in the morning and pressed the reset and it came back to life. It was never built for what I use it for, should just be used on hard ground :)

We’re off to a campsite called Waldergraves on Mersey island (Essex), we’ve been before, a great site, bars, restaurants, swimming pool, sea fishing, large shop and to top it all a theatre ? we’re there for a week, back home the following Sunday

Recuperating after 2 weeks in doddering Dorset! Went to visit some friends in Sixpenny Handley and stayed on their campsite. A brilliant time but because the organisers decided to change the weekend of the Dorset Steam Fair to coincide with the Bank Holiday the A354 from Salisbury to Blandford was gridlocked every day for 4 days! Usually the Fair is the weekend after the BH - many businesses were well upset at losing a week of trade. Knowing the Fair was on and the fact there could be up to 200000 there with 500 plus traction engines we stayed well away!

Wandering around Scotland Bill we were at Ayr a couple of years ago we watched them practicing on the beach looked as if it would be a great time
