Going to Calais on a day shopping trip in the Panda on Monday, picking up Trotter on the way because he is riding shotgun,

This weekend I will be changing the cam belt and water pump on my cherished modern classic MGF, such a job is bad enough on most vehicles, but on one of these mid engined beauties it is a job that taxes the patience of jobe, most especially when you have hands as large as mine!

Message to self.. avoid Galloway Forrest next month, on the way to the Trossachs, but something tells me the situation will not be any better.

Couple of nights booked at Cotherstone to catch up with some friends. I'm expecting it to end up a rather heavy session on real ale as one of my friends has recently opened his own brewery and will be bringing a barrel of his new brew to try on us. What could possibly go wrong
