We are going through all the use by dates, top up all levels ,crank up the heating and leave it on for a few hours,
Check operations of all components internal and external ie lights horn wiper ,eng oil and water
Bedding stripped out and washed ,nice smell of softener,I like lenor ,I’m a lenor MAN ?then take it a run and fill diesel and gas up .clothes n place and ready to go

Doh, you forgot the wife Gordon :p

I always try to remember to do the guy stuff under the hood but by the time I've given the van a good spring clean inside and out and filled everything up, I've had enough! I do check the tyres when I stop for fuel or gas.

I normally leave it cleaned and fuelled and ready to go, just add water. Fridge on the night before departure, check the tyre pressures and oil when convenient between the occasional rainy days. Load clothes and food on departure day.

After each trip the van is drained down and fridge emptied and turned off. Just before heading off again van is watered up, fridge stuff put in and a few clothes bunged in. The van lives at home so is always ready for departure.

I see to the inside of the van putting food stuff in and a few clothes in and Malcolm sees to the other bits

When I return home water is dumped, toilet cassette emptied and cleaned, fridge emptied and cleaned, bedding, dirty clothes, towels etc removed for washing then put back in, all front end levels checked then inside cleaned out.
I more or less use my motorhome every week so I have more clothing, shoes and tinned food in it than in the house lol.
So day before I’m going away fridge on, fill with water and perishables etc. I also check the heating is working and that’s it, ready for the off.
Permanently on ehu on drive so batteries always ok and tyrepal system takes care of the tyre pressures.
Best thing I have is check lists on my phone to ensure I never leave home without something. Tablets, iPad ecig kit etc, etc. My son laughs at my lists but since I started using them I have never left home without something I would need.

A good list is a thing of beauty

I like to check tyre pressures and then make sure that I know where the key to the drinks cupboard is! Sorted!

We empty most of the van when we return home , I try to fill it up on return also . Then clothes, food , dog bedding as well as ours quick check over of the van , heating on and away we go !
