What do you have for Breakfast

I'm totally different.

I put 2 or 3 in a bowl, pour boiling water over them, let them soak for a few seconds then drain them, love the smell, pour cold milk on and a little sugar or honey.

depends what I see when I open the cupboard :)

Today - Museli
sometimes Wheat Shreddies, Sugar Puffs, Rice Krispies, Yoghurt, Grenola, Instant Oats, maybe toast, who knows :D
Lidl Blueberry Mini Wheats (so 'Shreddies') are nice.

But .... NEVER EVER Bran Flakes or All Bran (yuk!)

Bran etc is for snowflakey vegan types.

How many skimpy folk dont use hot milk in cearal, first person to serve me cold would be hospitalised, cold breakfast what next. :(

Other than for porridge, I thought the need for hot milk 'evaporated' around the same time people started wearing long trousers 🤔
Not cooked if not heated in m wave or stove, cheapskates the lot of you, it would be like eating hen food. 😂

I have to blame his parents for the way he thinks (or doesn't) about things.

Two big heals of tosted bread with lashings of butter & marmalade washed down with a big mug of coffee, not forgetting the obligitory massive fart. 😂

Phill has porridge made with water, with a sliced banana. I have either bran flakes or shreddies with a banana. Neither of us adds sugar, just semi-skimmed milk.
When away in the van we both have overnight oats with a banana every day.

Two things I don't understand.

1. Why pay for instant oats when plain old oats are just as instant if you have a microwave?
2. Who buys branded e.g. Scott's Porridge Oats? Twice the price for a basic ingredient.

When I was skint years ago I would put oats in a cup with some milk & raisins and it kept me alive.

We have a FULL English two or three times a year, not a healthy breakfast if you have it too often and we enjoy it more often, not something I or my arteries would want every day :D :D

Its also nicer when you are away and someone else is cooking it

Being a year older hasn't helped you humour then :D :D :D
