What do you think of this idea?

Wifes mother has dementia now, wanting to go out and lock the farm gates etc, restless and always going back in time with conversations.
 
Her husband is no better.
 
He's not doing bad as he just posted DOPEY.
 
Just to clarify Trev, you said wifes mother, I said her husband, I'm sure you can work out who that scoundrel is.

My mum had dementia, she gradually forgot us, but we still had her, even if we were thought of as strangers. Father in Law has it now and cannot understand whet all the fuss is about. But he still knows us both, just not some of the others! Mother in Law had the beginnings too, so I don't hold out much hope for me and my wonderful lass...

I like the bus top idea. My mum would have been happy to sit there, pass the time and after maybe ten minutes, would have forgotten whet she was doing there.
