A friend is looking at this van, I think it is a terrible design, poor storage and an odd layout.

I really like it. I love a rear lounge layout. There will of course be compromise in such a small van.

Us too, but though it says two singles, only with mats on top of a fridge, tiny top lockers, side door obscured by the (£75k new) sink/hob/oven so to have the door open it has to be wide open, other vans put them toward the back of the door and you get a longer worktop, the fridge is tine with a very small freeze box.

The bathroom looks quite good, I'd delete the sink though and use the kitchen one.

It has the best Seitz windows, I much prefer rollers to concertina, but they are better than the single pane or Polyplastic efforts some companies use..

Putting an extra radio in has lost a useful cupboard.

Liz would fall out of the van at the "wardrobe".

I think they have tried to make a good short van but it feels like it was designed by committee and not by someone who uses one a lot.

Unless the regs have changed it's 5.4m length it will not fit into a standard parking space, being 2.4m x 4.8m ☹️

I think it is a nice design as well.
Well packaged and usable for a single or couple.

It is a very simple van but massively overpriced I think when you consider the appliances and fittings

A new MWB Citroen Relay starts at approx £29,500 I just don't see £45k in the back even with AC and all the cab toys etc.

I've no idea what the price is. Just commenting on the layout for the size.

Having never spent anything close to £75,000 on any of my vans, I have no idea if that's good value or not, gut feeling says one could do a heck of a lot better for the same money by buying second-hand, I would have expected a couple of the options below to be standard

AUTOMATIC BOX fiat ducato £tba
AWNING F65 - £950
BIKE RACK - £450
TV / DVD 19 inch 12 volt - £395
TOWBAR ( SINGLE ELECTRICS ) - £550
CAB CURTAINS - £300
EXTERNAL AERIAL POINT - £140
SWIVEL SEAT PASSENGERS SIDE - £350
SECOND SOLAR PANEL 100 WATT - £600

Having consulted swmbo she couldn't cope with such a restricted area to cook and it strikes me as being in a really silly position we usually have the sliding door partially open but in this one the burners would be too openly exposed to the breeze on one side and the chef would be facing full force of the cab greenhouse/condensation magnet effect on the other.

We personally have negative experiences with sliding windows as they can let water in so can't easily be used when raining. I am surprised it has bonded windows at the rear that's a bit cheap imho.

There's no real info on the site about specification and what always bother me with any small scale van builders is how well they do the time consuming stuff you can't see i.e. insulation, stuff that's never mentioned in the selective reviews either.

Apart from the solar none of that list appeals to us.
