Nothing. I have a SOG.
Smelly old gi- -?Nothing. I have a SOG.
While it is possible that when a SOG extractor fan is turned on there might be a slight odour outside the van there will certainly be no odour inside. Which would you prefer?Smelly old gi- -?
The owner of the campsite next to where we store our van told me that they have a 'septic tank' that they have to pay to be regularly emptied. When the contractors empty the tank, they run the effluent through a sight class and any sign of blue incurs additional charges because the load has to undergo additional treatment before it can be added to the mainstream sewage at the treatment plant. We have an arrangement to empty our cassette if we've been wild camping and so he was keen to ensure that we don't use blue chemicals.Don’t think colour has much to do with it...it’s only a dye. One-Chem Bio is blue, works in top tank and cassette and only contains as far as I know enzymes for breaking down poo. I had used Tesco Bio liquid, but this contains a lot of additional surfactants and other nasties necessary for washing purposes. If you look up Tesco liquid on the detergents website you will see it contains at least three substances toxic to aquatic life.
Good old fresh air anytime ?While it is possible that when a SOG extractor fan is turned on there might be a slight odour outside the van there will certainly be no odour inside. Which would you prefer?
Well send her there then, problem solvedThe owner of the campsite next to where we store our van told me that they have a 'septic tank' that they have to pay to be regularly emptied. We used to use Thetford green liquid until reading some threads on WC regarding bio tablets. We now use Morrison's bio tablets, which are a lot cheaper than the Thetford liquid, quickly break down everything in the cassette to an easily-emptied slurry, and originally did a better job of deodourising the loo. However, they don't seem to be as good at deodourising in hot weather, so Mrs wants to switch back to Thetford.
Why don’t you like Lidl or Aldi?
The car parks are too tight, my car was badly scratched on one occasion. The queues at the check outs are too long. The cashiers rush you through at top speed knocking stuff off the tiny little shelves on to the floor. Sometimes the shops are so crowded it's difficult to reach what you want or make any headway. They don't sell some things I want to buy so I have to go elsewhere afterwards. Some of the food (particularly at Lidl) is tasteless and not as expected from the packaging.
That's all I can think of offhand.
