What is a motorhome?

I know many people think that a motorhome is a big vehicle and a campervan is a smaller vehicle, but this is not the case.

The definition of a motorhome is "a motor vehicle equipped like a caravan for living in."

So if it is an RV, A-class, C-class, PVC, Poptop, Car conversion, VW or a Motor Caravan they are all Motorhomes.

The users of Motorhomes are Motorhomers.
 
Quite right , but to answer your question what is a motorhome, it’s the best thing we ever bought.
 
A getaway vehicle for most other than those who have it as their permanent abode

Yep method in my madness Sue! Haha now though they just want to stay here overnight all three of them! Even the littlest one
 
It’s more than an escape to me it’s a means of exploring every nook and cranny this country has to offer mine over the years has taken me to places I would never have seen had I been in a car and doing the hotel/B&B thing and it beats doing the fortnight a year package holiday without question and hopefully many more adventures to come.
 
My motorhome is just like a smaller version of my home.
It's got wheels.
I motor around in it.
Frankly homemotor doesn't have the same ring to it.
Hence my first line.

Best thing we ever did.
A week or two holiday will never seem the same again.
Taught us how much meaningless STUFF we accumulate around us, and work to earn the money, that we do not NEED
So think camper van implies a more basic level of kit and size than MH. Bit like tents and houses.
 
Annie you know me think I’m bi polar this morning I hateded van because I thought I was working this weekend now I’m sitting parked up in a beautiful wee spot 30 minutes from home and thinking I’m the KING

a super vehicle where you can visit lots of beautiful places and wake up to some extraordinary views
 
My wee home, (when finished) will be a place that we can enjoy without the hassles of booking unless you want to, of being stuck in a place that isn't what you thought it would be & being able to look at a different view every morning.
It's about choice, a choice that I hope we'll still have in years to come!
