OK, I've got the tea and biscuits. Go!

Motorways services over the drain in the lorry park, or a lay-by with storm drain. Technically you are not supposed to do that!

At a waste disposal point

I try and find a grate if we've been roughing it, or if not I agree with the above, discretion in the darkness and it magically disappears. :D

If your parked on grass pot a bucket that you have pre drilled o few holes in the bottom place under your outlet put a j cloth or similar in the bottom of the bucket and open your wast to a small trickle it will then soak away slowly and all food debris will be caught in the cloth you can dispose of that in a bin and nobody is any wiser about your grey waste.

Would that not make it black waste :poop: ooh that's when the thread gets really interesting.

I usually empty onto my drive when I get home then I empty the fresh water then I wash the motorhome, after all it is mainly only soapy water, if I need to empty before I get home then I usually find a grass verge somewhere nice and quite

I go to Helen262's drive and empty mine there, then when she comes home she cleans the drive for me :Halo:

I thought something looked different the last time I washed it

When is it ok just to leave it open? No, serious question. Ok so on a tarmac Aire in the middle of summer you wouldnt of course do that but out of season when its wet on say longish grass surely its ok. Generally the only stuff that goes down our grey is shower water and or brushing your teeth, washing etc. All washing up water with bits in tends to go in a bowl and ill chuck it in a hedge. Ive parked for weeks on end on one or two grassy places (CL sites) generally on our own and just left it open using this method without problems. Am I a bad person?

Yes Barry. You're a very naughty boy, go and stand in the corner!

Seriously though, we find if we wipe food debris off of our plates with a paper towel, firstly they are easier to clean with less water, and secondly it has got to be better than letting it all into the grey water tank to fester.

Alternertively, run a hose from your tank under somebody else's van. Either's good.

We don't have food debris on our plates, we have two canine dishwashers

Yes like a Labrador, a feeding machine for it's stomach.......

Paper plates is the answer only the odd pan to wash and wipe out any food debris with a paper towel the very few bits in your waste tank.
