And how do I get rid of it?

It's on every screen, it doesn't respond to being clicked and it doesn't move.

It seems to be an image of the Start button for Windows11, Kev, but tilted at 45 degrees in the horizontal. Have you taken a screenshot, accidentally? The button on the RH side of the screen appears to be clickable [please don't!]. I would try to uninstall the last software you downloaded and run a virus check, because it looks dodgy, to say the least

FWIW, I tried an image search on that icon but came up empty handed. Do you get a context menu if you right-click it? If so, you should be able to right-click then choose Properties, which should tell you what it is and where it or its related application is.

I have right and left clicked it, nothing happens and it doesn't move either.

Screen shot to show the button??

I suspect, in that case, that it's probably part of the desktop background image (wallpaper). If so, changing your wallpaper to another image or plain colour should get rid of it. Try this (instructions are for Windows 10, I suspect Windows 11 is similar);
  1. Right-click an empty bit of your desktop and choose "Personalize" -- the Background settings dialog box opens;
  2. From the Background drop-down list, choose Solid colour
  3. Check your desktop to see whether the thingumajig has gone.
If this works, you can reset your desktop wallpaper/background via the dialog box you opened in step 1 above.

No, I already did that, rebooted etc, still there.

I thought it might be Grammarly but I deleted that and its still there on top of all pages.

Last ditch attempt! Open up File Manage and navigate to This PC->Desktop. Have a look at the contents of that folder for the thingy...
I thought what a good idea Geoff, but not that I can see.

Can you see every shortcut that's listed in that folder on your Desktop? You said you deleted Grammarly, yet there's still a shortcut to that application in your Desktop folder! How did you 'delete' Grammarly? Did you do this via the Settings -> Apps dialog box, selecting the Grammarly app and then clicking Uninstall?

I uninstalled it properly in programs and features Geoff, rebooted, the "icon" thing was still there so I reinstalled Grammarly I have a habit of spelling a couple of words incorrectly it just highlights them for me.

Weird, I jsut rebooted it and it went, now it's back but different it must be a Grammarly glitch as it has a numebr two in it now showing my errors. see screen shot below.

it has a smiley in it now not a number.

it usually looks like this which is why I deleted Grammarly in the first place.

See first line of #11 Geoff, sorted now, don't know why but it is, thanks for your help I think maybe something you said might have helped.

It's a bugger Trev.
