Looks like i will be asking for new leisure batteries

Did a top up of electolyte which I normally do around once or twice a year and noticed both batteries needed more distilled / de-ionised water than normal

I also take them out and charge them on the bench with a CTEK that has a battery recovery function that helps to desulpate the plates and agitate the electrolyte to avoid layering/ stratification ( or so it claims)
First battery on the charger finished charge as normal
Second battery never completes charge - gets warm and bubbles more and for longer


Time to replace it (will get 2 so I have matching pair )
Bought them both in April 2009

So another pair of Varta LFD90’S ( Though just wondering about a single LFD140 instead but as its 513mm in length i would have to relocate consumer unit to make room)

A kit to make my van Euro 6 compliant would be nice. Without it I think that time is running out.
