Wondering how I managed to forget to open the shower tap when I drained the water system. The hose is frozen solid now and I just hope it's not done any damage. Ah well, don't use it much anyway, but I would rather it didn't leak!

If you can remove it, then take it out and hang it up outdoors overnight so it will drain. Check if your due a sub-zero night in your area and if so, hang it in a cold room like a garage or similar over a bucket til it thaws and drains. It should be a rubber pipe inside the flexible metal sleeve and probably wont split.

You might not get away with whats in the pipework before the hose though-there will be some - what is your water system based on? Is it Whale, Truma or something else?
