Wheel arch moulding

lorry passed in opposite direction and blew moulding off.
single screw centre fixing broken means it wouldn’t hold on aluminium brackets either side.
Got tube of mastic and have fixed it back much more securely than the other side
A) Do I argue to have it replaced refitted as before
B) stick otherside and be happier than b4!!!!
what so they fix these vans together with!!!
doesnt bode well for 10 years if this is happening in first year!!!!

I don't have much faith in most work shops .
most things I've had done I've had to do again.

Mastic or whatever will not last.
I tried to firm up my 2 but one fell off on Motorway
I got a pair made from Glassfibre using the remaining one as a mould/template MUCH cheaper than buying "original spares"
Also spares probably difficult or indeed impossible to source
With constant vibration and flexing you need something more substantial than glue/mastic/sikaflex etc
Plastic or Metal brackets cabinet fixings anything you can find from places like Screwfix Halfords Maplin
Screw and Glue
If fitment is a Semicircle fix at 10 o'clock noon and 2 o'clock ie 3 points
May not look 100% but ONLY YOU will notice

Stikoflex for me ,when running Peugeot workshops we used it for body kits ,wheel arch spats, boot spoilers never had any probs with it,my solar is on with it. Fourth year never any probs
