As kids we used to go fishing in the gravel pits and the Trent at hoveringham.

One of my favourite toys when I was a kid.
I digress.
We are closer than Crete or Sunderland, but not close enough unfortunately. Hopefully see you soon at a meet.

Walked six miles round them today, cold and wet, should have done it in the sunshine yesterday

Remember as a kid seeing a line of Hoveringham 8 leg Foden tippers parked regularly in a farmyard next to the m62. One of the reasons I wanted to be a truck driver. Happy days...
