I'd prefer dual 2.1a as the socket shows, but I don't want an illuminated one.

I think the single 2.1A/1A are often dubious with regard to rating. Do you have room to fit 2 of those?

I do Steve , but more often than not one of the items is on charge overnight so no biggy.

Anyhoo, Specsavers for me I read more carefully the description and it has a off switch so I'll just order that after confirming it is 2 x 2.1a

I don't think I have ever seen a non-illuminated aftermarket USB socket.

I used to buy 100 at a time from Ali express Dave and sell them on eBay, as well as these I have on now, I did buy and sell a few vans in order to be able run one, I'd buy a faulty one cheap sort out all the problems and sell it o only a few of these left, I'd fit solar, a Refillable cylinder, maybe 5-6 USB sockets etc and make a healthy profit, I still would but just doing this silly little job has taken it out of me.
