WHERE DO YOU KEEP YOUR VAN IN WINTER?

Same here, on the drive with electric heater on frost stat. Ready for the off, if we get the chance :)
 
We store ours about a mile from home for security reasons, and as a matter of habit from the last van I leave the upper lockers open to avoid damp issues.

It should be on our drive, food & clothes packed, and on our way in no time. We'll see how it pans out this winter!
 
Another with a van on the driveway on the rare times it is not travelling. In the village I live in there are lots of motorhomes. Most don't move often. A neighbour with a bit of land has just set up a secure storage area. Its filling up fast.
 
On the drive packed and ready to go but with no food in it! Although I always leave it drained down (as it only takes a few minutes to fill) I also leave a small oil filled radiator in just to make sure nothing freezes. Probably overkill but better safe than sorry. We actually go away more often in winter than in summer as everywhere is much quieter.
 
We store it in Portugal or Spain but if we have to we keep it on the drive just outside the front door with an electric oil filled radiator in it,
so it's ready to go when we need it.
 
At the side of my house on EHU with 2 mini oiled filled radiators ( 1 in the habitaion area and 1 in the rear garage ) ready to use if the temperature drops.

It also has a spare silver screen on and the window / heki blinds drawn.
 
Can't bear for mine to be anywhere other than on the drive or I would pine away. I always drain down the tanks after every trip anyway, so just pull all the cushions away from the walls and add a low wattage heater to keep the frost and moisture away. I used to put 2 moisture traps in but haven't done that since I tipped one over in the overhead... what a disgusting oily mess! Took so long to get shot of it, I swore I'd never use them again. Of course, I do try to get away as often as possible... love the winter meets, especially in the car park of a pub with a roaring fire ;)

Now that's interesting Wooie. I've avoided ever keeping my window or heki blinds drawn when the van's not in use because I read somewhere that it can mess up the tensioning. Am I just being over-cautious?
 
I keep mine at the back of the house all year round. In winter it has ehu with a fan heater to prevent freezing. It does get used all year round, but if there’s a chance of freezing I drain it when not in use just to be on the safe side.
I always put the blinds up and put the internal screens up in winter.

When we're at home, not often more likely in Spain or Portugal, on the drive, plugged in with an oil filled radiator on connected through a thermostat plug to keep it above freezing. All cupboards and doors open.

My motorhome is now 11 years old and i`ve done it from new without and effect on the tensioning.
 
Well I have storage in Buxton where it should be 3 nights a week all year but opps, looks like it’s not there again as I am sat looking over a wet valley :)

Did I say I sorted out final retirement date last week and I finally finish 31st December so this winter it will be wherever I am parked up with me in it :)
 
Our's is on our drive, hooked up to the mains and with a small heater inside. That's when we aren't using it :) We love going away over Christmas and have often woken up to snow in the UK - especially in the Lakes.

Ours is parked on drive I use it as a second vehicle when Julie has the car we was going to use it as our main vehicle as it's based on a Renault kangoo but it's only got two belted seats so not practical when we have the grandchildren
