Jeez - Glasgow trades fortnight in Blackpool brings back really old memories. So many Glaswegians came down by train during trades that Glasgow sent their own police force down to (try to) maintain law and order!!!!
Be afraid Bill and Sue!

Just had a look at this site quite handy for visiting the City it looks good will make a note of this one, thanks Chris.

No probs. It is literally a 10-15 min walk to the tube or overland railway station, down a gentle hill. Bus stops are even closer. We were surprised at how peaceful the site was: an oasis of greenery and calm really. There is a Co-op or a Sainsbury's that is walkable from the site if you need supplies plus a group of local shops just before the tube/rail station. The tube certainly is accessible for reduced mobility as it is all shiny and new and has lifts to all levels.

It's right at the end of the new Elizabeth Line which is very clean and efficient. We never had to wait for a tube as there always seemed to be one in ready to go.
