We were there last weekend. Spent overnight in a North York Moors car park above Fylingthorpe and Robin Hoods Bay with beautiful sea views, then used the park and ride in Whitby (£2.50 return) to be able to spend the day there. Really good size bays in the overflow car park, but no overnight stays allowed.
