We have been feted at re- enactments at Almeda, La Albuera, and Elvas, because we had English plates on the van
The tourist Info guy at at Badajoz, is another buff and we had great difficulty in getting outside, for lunch.
The Torres Novas lines is an interesting story, , we were greatly welcomed there, even if it did cost us a new clutch, after someone had assured us that we could be able to drive the van up to the semaphore station..
