fuel Cells are very expensive, until they can bring the price right down forget it.

These cells are 'one time use' but are cheap to manufacture. There is no reason why you cannot exchange a flat one for a new one and recycle the old one.

We will just have to wait and see wot price the fuel cell are gonna be sold at.

The salt silicate battery is in development and works but may take 10 years to get on full production ,it can charge 5 times faster and hold 5 times the power,they have small units working now.

Bosch the Diesel fuel pump company are very close to developing a Diesel engine and carbon capture system that will take diesels into the same emission zones as electric cars why do you think vw bmw and all the big German car makers haven’t taken the electric thing to serious they’ve been working on new carbon capture systems and think they’ve even developed a retro fit system that can be fitted to existing engines these big companies are keeping there cards close to there chests but I think we’ll hopefully see some big developments other than electric.

I know trev but do you honestly believe that’ll happen the big oil companies won’t let it they have too much influence and power they’ve been running the world for the last 100 years and I don’t see that changing. The Japanese have swayed towards hydrogen and I think that’s the best choice once they get it 100% right. maybe something new and totally left field will come along.
