Why have these turned up at the Green Frog?

Turned up at the Frog today to find chains have been put round the roundabout - anybody know why?!!!!!

You maybe missed the point of all my exclamation marks in the first post because there is a bit of a history here with a certain member of this forum! Your response is correct though.

During the snow a German motorhomer drove straight onto it at a good speed I think and sank up to the axles they had to get the manitou from the timber yard to pull it out
now farbeit from me to start a rumour but we heard they were friends of terry (runnach) who gave them directions

I can say that when it’s all covered in snow you can’t even see there is a roundabout, and even if you know there’s one there you can’t see how wide the road is, had a close scrape myself last winter.
