If my memory serves me well, tonybvi SIL were mobilised many years ago to do a subsea survey, take core samples etc. BGS did the survey, as the talk back then was to build a bridge.

So an operational tunnel by 2030, a pipe dream, but hey, never say never!

HOPE SO but the date is very optimistic as it is next in line to be built AFTER the IOW TUNNEL OR BRIDGE is completed and we are not holding our breath for that hee hee.

It will never happen. By 2030 the WEF want everyone off the roads & on public transport, to quote Claus Schwab's "you will own nothing & be happy" hear is a picture of him , see if it reminds you of anyone.

The proposal is for a rail link and has been proposed since 1979. Cant see who would benefit other than us intrepid motorhomes
