Winter charging

On my Wildebus Safari Camper I could generally go without plugging in for quite a while in Winter, relying on the Solar to help extend the battery time enough so I would likely be driving the van before any problems.

Unfortunately not quite the same case with the Motorhome, as Roof Solar dropped from 480W to 270W, Battery dropped from 645Ah to 400Ah, Cooling gone from 240V Fridge to bigger 240V Fridge/Freezer and more System Monitoring kit.
Each one of those factors means battery bank won't last as long.

I've got 3.6KW of spare panels but I just can't seem to get them all to fit on the roof!
Thinks maybe I will build something like this, should work really well in the UK except perhaps on windy days!
Or when trying to do a quick getaway...............

I’d be more worried about mounting bikers!
