Winter's creeping in

I suppose that is where your name comes from, you are a leg end
Was that a typo Tel, did you mean bell end? :)

I think I posted elsewhere, my winter preparation was to buy a kilt which should be warmer than my shorts with 8yards of material in it :)

We have a good heater and usually have a couple of fleece blankets which we could use if needed

Hi David, the blanket is like an under blanket, it takes about 10 mins before it's actually warming the bed but it's lovely when I get in ?. We don't sleep with it plugged in on and in fact Lee usually takes the blanket off the bed when he eventually staggers in from the ? ....
Why does he remove it? The element ribbing on it?
I have one (normal 240V one) and the heating ribs (or whatever they are called) are quite pronounced but I fitted it on top of the mattress but have a 5cm topper on top of the blanket. So can't feel it at all but it works brilliantly. Takes a little longer for the heat to warm the bed probably but will retain in for longer as well on the flip side.
Just a thought to save needing to be taking it off and on?

(Must admit I do have the temp control and the socket on/off switch right by the bedside and can switch it on/off/up/down as I want while in bed :) )
