Would you like a 3D printed house?

I think I might, but I'm not sure Liz would. I love the idea, and I suppose you could still plaster or clad the walls.

Interesting how lots of people think making something via a 3D printer is a cheap way to produce things. It is actually not the case at all.

Any kind of production run and it is a more expensive and an inferior result compared to the 'old fashioned' injection-moulded method.

It is. And I have a pair of 3D printers and make things. But you get folk thinking because something was made on a 3D printer, it should be cheaper than buying a similar commerical product

Once you have a working and satisfactory prototype, you should proceed to a manufacturer of course, unless it isn't a big production run.
