Who attended the drum with the Mercedes 609? Motorhome. I beleive it used to belong to an oil company

It was their first meet and they were heading north... her name is Cecilia....

A friend's 609d, LWB coach suspension, a factory bought van with bespoke yacht builder interior.
cost a small fortune. This pic. was about 1992, lack of windows, s/s bars and grilles were primarily for
security on our Africa trips, this van has since bit the dust, whereas mine soldiers on..... and hopefully on.

Ours seems to have its own natural speed limiter of about 55mph!! (Or 18mph going up the Scottish mountains yesterday 🤣)

With 136bhp and a fairly high axle ratio you should easily get 70mph on the flat. Even my 86bhp
will get to its geared 63mph maximum and the 609d with 86bhp will get near to 70mph.
