Buy yourself an Amazon firestick or similar device and install SkyGo on that.OK thanks for that Phil I will stick with the brick as we only use the Xbox for streaming sky go
Nice idea but won't work. You can't install Sky Go on any Amazon devices, including the Firestick or their Tablets. You also can't install Sky Go on the Now TV devices (this is because Sky, who own Now TV, want Now TV owners to buy the monthly passes).Buy yourself an Amazon firestick or similar device and install SkyGo on that.
There are good offers if you shop aroundFWIW, I have Sky TV, but I use Now TV for Sky Cinema as it gives the same features and with offers can be £7 a month cheaper.
This does not work, unfortunately.
At what stage does it fail? This does not work, unfortunately.
What about a Rasperry Pi with Android on? Low 5v power and very small. I'm suggesting Android because I've a got feeling that Sky don't do Sky Go for Linux but I don't mind being proven wrong.just got a firestick and sideloaded sky go but it wont work so wasted my money!!! I will just stick with the xbox one for streaming sky sports until I find a smaller alternative

Don't think of the fireestick as a wste of money, I use mine for browsing, BBC iPlayer ITV hub etc.
