Going to the Peak District for the scenery to take photos and walks with my cocker spaniel. Any advice would be welcome for places to visit and places to stay.
As I said , I don't think you'll go wrong anywhere in the Peaks. If your a member of the C&cc, I can recommend their Bakewell site. Apart from EHU, and water, there nothing else there, showers and the like, but it's a safe place to stay, while you get used to your new hobby. And cheap enough. Enjoy.Thank you Trotter I was looking at Goyt Valley as it has some wild camping spots and looks beautiful
It’s still early in the season. Make sure places are openThanks a lot for your help I was probably going to do a night of on site and night of parked up.
No shower block at Bakewell. There’s a C&cc site on the Leek - Buxton rd.Good point I'll check for places to stay are open with shower and wc facilities
If you are a member of the camping and caravan club look up the MAS peakland section .Going to the Peak District for the scenery to take photos and walks with my cocker spaniel. Any advice would be welcome for places to visit and places to stay.
