Thank you. There seems to be a debate about doing it south to north or north to south. I see you suggest the former....was there any particular reason ? Also can you tell me any "must see" stuff .?Go Oban - Barra - South Uist - Benbecula- Nort Uist- Harris - Lewis- Ullapool. Brilliant trip. Cal Mac will sell you a through ticket at a very reasonable price. There are free MH service points at the ferry terminals.

How many days are you going for, and some brilliant replys as to where to goHi fellow motorhome peeps. My wife and I are off to outer Hebrides in MH. Thinking of taking an Island hopping ticket Oban ..Hebrides ..Ullapool. If anyone has any tips for this area we would be happy to hear from you. Pedro
Thank you so much for all the effort you put into this reply. I have been offline a few days so catching upHello,
When you get off the ferry you will find that it is one island, Lewis on the right and Harris on the left. Harris has the
most and best beaches. Lewis is where most people live and where you will find the town of
Stornoway if you need to stock up or get fuel. Horgabost beach has a campsite, which is actually
two industrial containers with ladies and gents showers. We didn’t stay but used it as a service stop.
I think it was £2. Here is the link to the chemical disposal, showers and toilets

Discover your very own slice of heaven and visit the Outer Hebrides. This celebrated, interconnected chain of Atlantic islands of the north west coast of Scotland caters for thrill seekers and chill s..www.visitouterhebrides.co.uk
We also visited Luskentyre beach, the most photographed beach in the country – there are a lot of
wild spots that look like wild camping along the beach but you need to pay about £5 to the Harris
trust - you can do this via paypal on your phone if you have a signal or later on if you don’t .
Test your metal and drive out to Husinish – you can wild camp out there. There has been a toilet
block added since we were last there.
Seilebost beach on the way to northon is nice although we couldn’t find the way onto to it.
Whatever you do on Harris make it a must to visit Northton and Croft 36 http://www.croft36.com
You can wild camp beside the beach if you want as well. Fresh made by the lady who lives in the
house at the back. Just leave your money in the honesty box. You will not be disappointed in the
food.
